IDK game runs at 2x speed. walking around, shooting, animations etc feels way too fast. Feels like i have an advantage on multiplayer

it isnt bro
You're either use to playing Halo Infinite at low frame rate...
or
You're finally realizing that Halo Infinite is just a slow game, because in todays world we cater to the dumb -> slow people.
Nope, I can show footage. Ive played MCC through the xbox app before and it was not like this.
Like I said I am used to playing Infinite and MCC on my PC at 144FPS (capped to monitor refresh) so I know how it is supposed to run. Notice how fast I can shoot and walk around. Listen to how fast others can shoot compared to me.

My Xbox live sub ended and seen it on sale on steam. Fresh install on the same PC.
AMD 9900x
RTX 4070ti
thats so odd
I know right? I just don't want to get banned or reported for "hacking"
Going to try a few things and try to find what is causing it. Will report back. But yeah if anyone has experienced this let me know!
That happened to me on my second game, but it was only a quick second

Try going to your Nvidia control panel and reset the profile to global settings, maybe something in there is causing it. You can also try verifying the game files or re-downloading the game.

I believe multiple people were having the same issue a few years back and it was tied to Windows being on a buggy Insider build. If you do happen to be on an Insider build, it might be best to switch back. If not, I have no Idea broski.

Edit: Also, try just running the game without any frame rate cap. That means disable the frame cap in your Nvidia control panel as well.

this actually looks like a network issues and you probably aren't appearing that fast on their screen. because if you watch the warthog it's constantly correcting position
cap fps to your monitor refresh rate
I don't really play multiplayer anymore... So I have no idea if this is applicable... But what was the score?

It looks/sounds like a handicap server: Player with the worst score gets an advantage (I can't even remember if it's Halo that I've seen this in before).
Your running 144fps??? How are you doing that???

The game is set to increments of 60fps. You can do 120fps or 180fps. Not 144fps. I have a 144fps monitor. I set the game to 120fps vsync. No problems running in this mode.

Framerate cap through the graphics card control panel?
