Halo Alpha ring mod question

Hello,
I have been enjoying the Alpha ring mod by playing split screen but when I attempt to play the game with Anti Cheat on, I get the following message “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application. I understand to play the split screen I need to play the game with anti-cheat off but can I continue to play the game with the mod file installed even though I am not choosing the mod option at start up? I hope I asked my question clearly and thanks in advance for any assistance. I love the ability to play split screen but would be nice to be able to do matchmaking separate at start-up of the game.

No, they have it set up to where any-files that's not the default files from install are considered cheats or mods.
