Who is still waiting for Halo 5 on PC???

I don't think I'll ever get any Halo before getting 5 on Steam.

I would love to see Halo 5 on PC. Unfortunately, everything I have read says it is not coming or being planned, so don't hold out hope.

However, I did find a way to play it on PC if you don't have XBOX. If you go to xCloud beta xbox gaming, you can stream Halo 5 to your PC on a browser and play it that way. It does require a Xbox controller and it is a subscription, but if you beat Halo 5 in less than a month, then it only cost you 1 month of subscription ~$15 because you can then cancel your subscription. I am doing this right now. Note, that xCloud beta is NOT gamepass, they are two different things.

Its obviously not perfect, but probably the only way to play on PC that we are likely to see.

I think if a modder is able to hack together a Halo 5 campaign, 343i will be forced to respond and release an official version. Otherwise I don't see it happening.

There are no public plans to port Halo 5 to PC any time soon. It has been confirmed to not be coming to MCC and if 343i did release it now it will likely compete with Halo: Infinite.

I would like to play Halo 5 on PC someday but it's just not in the cards right now. There's a forge and custom games app for Halo 5 you can use on the Windows Store.

I do. Even, if I know 100% maybe it will never happens. Playing with Xbox Cloud a thing, but I still need a controller or wait till K&M support drops.
343 hands are full now. Ironing out Infinite, the small team tweaking MCC. But one day who knows... I never dreamed about MCC hitting PC with almost all Halo titles + Spartan games and Halo Wars 1-2!

Because we want to experience the story, even if it is seen as bad by some people.

you can play it via the cloud option on game pass. i know its not the best solution but it is one lol.

Halo 5: Forge, apparently also known as Forge – Halo 5: Guardians Edition was released free of charge for Windows 10 back in 2016 I think via the Windows Store (I have not heard good things about that store nor any recent information to imply that's changed though).
It gives you access to Forge & Custom Games only (I don't know if it has Cross-Play, but Custom Games & Maps can go from PC to Xbox One and hopefully the other way around), but it's something.

While Halo 5: Guardians is one of my less played & least liked Halo games as a whole (The Campaign was so frustratingly bland even in Co-Op, the Multiplayer wasn't my cup of tea, the lootbox nature of REQs just made Warzone horrible and the later Warzone Firefight wasn't at all helped by it, Theatre functionality seemed to be bare-bones at best, but I did consider Forge & Custom Games to be the game's brightest spot despite the total muscle-memory adjustment those Forge controls were), I'd like to see it arrive on Steam just so we can either tell the online-only nature of the game (Aside from Solo Campaign) to bugger off or so modders can really get their teeth stuck into the game to see if they can make it much more fun (I'm sure Ruby of Blue would surely have a field day making a Ruby's Rebalanced for Halo 5: Guardians).

I played Forge when it came out... I am sure it is super dead now.

BTW, I don't think it's weird asking for Halo 5 on PC; because MS released that Halo RTS game on Steam many years after the original release on the 360.

On the list of things I'm waiting for, Halo 5 is placed after "Asteriod hitting Earth" and "Massive Supervolcano erupts".

343i's Halo bastardizations are a great showing of how trashy AAA games are.
