except when it comes to PVP in Halo since these games were made for console they have a build in aimbot (pretty much does aim and track for you, so why play at all?) when you use controler, which means controler in PVP is just OP (artificially)
without the aimbot controlers would actually need some skill same like M&K
However, M&Kb lets you get some crazy movements and ultra-precise shots, so you can out-maneuver controller players in close quarters as well as do ridiculous Banshee movements. The skill ceiling is much higher, but you don't get as much assistance as controller players do.
The pro scene is a bit weird for Halo, because pretty much all of the old pros grew up using controllers for this franchise, so it's kind of hard to fight years of playing to relearn a completely different set of controls.
There's no Aim Assist in Unreal Tournament. You can move the mouse (or ball for a Trackball) a hair more easily to line up a shot. This is one of the reasons why I use K&M on foot in No Man's Sky, and use Controller for controlling my Starship, hence the "mouse makes aiming more accurate.
