Achievements bugged?

The game is odd, right from the beginning. Sometimes i get achievements right away, sometimes i have to close the game and have to play to show up. But now, it does not even give me the achievements for the last 3 chapters of halo 3.

I tried that troubleshooting with vortex that is mentionend in a guide, but that did not help. Restarting the pc or log in / log out of my microsoft account did not do anything as well.

Any suggestions what i else can try?

Sometimes they pop after a few days. Other times they get permanently bugged. In my case it has happened with multiple Halo Reach campaign achievements (I do not know how many Bobs I killed already but still no achievement). Same for Dave, the two corpses for one grave one and many others. They simply refuse to show up as achieved even if I met the criterias several times in several difficulty settings with and without bonus multiplier skulls even...Keep it clean too is bugged for me, no matter how many Moas I kill on the first mission it refuses to show up as achieved.

Same here. No achievements unlock. I have no idea what's going on given that 24 hours ago, I was happily unlocking them just 10 seconds after completing their requirements.

I know it seems to be a case by case basis (example: I have the difficulty achievements, level achievements and some unique achievements unlocked on MCC/Steam while others are completely broken). Another example is Halo CE Before and After achievemnt is permanently stuck for me on 8/10 (I have no idea what levels did not register for this achievemnt). I am pretty sure Aerial is bugged because I might accidentally done it a few times but it was not unlocked. For other players they seem to work fine. Some in my friends list that own the game have the bugged achievements unlocked already that I cant unlock because they are bugged for me. So this is a weird bug...

No dice. Seems to be an issue on Microsoft's or Steam's part.

Could it have something to do with the microsoft outages today? It would be a crazy coincidence if that happens and the achievements not unlocking has nothing to do with it.

I think the same. This month I’ve successfully win several achievements from Reach and CE, they sometimes pop right away or have to reopen the game to pop them up. Since yesterday’s night (right when the CrowStrike incident started) till this day haven’t won any mcc achievement.

I'm having the same issue today. Finished the last two chapters of Halo 2 and no achievements popped.

The achievements seem to be working again as of now. I did Halo without entering a vehicle, went to my campaign achievements stats and it unlocked.

Completed halo 4 campaign on legendary today but none of the level completion achievements and completing the campaign on legendary achievement popped up for me.

I even verified the integrity of my game and checked if my DNS settings aren't blocking the services but still nothing. I think it's from the server side that is having some issues cause two days ago achievements were popping up instantly after completing them.

I didn't earn any achievements yesterday like everyone else. But i went back and did one of the missions i should have got some for yesterday and received it for stage 8 on halo 2 after beating it again today

I got a couple now, but there are a lot missing from halo 3 and ODST.

While I was sleeping, 7 achievements were unlocked for me in Microsoft, after starting the game I received them all in Steam. I tried to complete another mission, but I did not receive any achievements. Apparently I’ll get it again at a random moment. That's not cool.
