Also keep in mind that some campaign mods require you have the multiplayer for that game installed to work.
Took me a second to figure out precisely what you meant, but I got it, thank you so much!
For anyone else who might not know, go to the window on your Library page for the game that shows your DLCs, click "Manage my (##) DLCs" and make sure the only game with a little green check mark is the one you want to play and then go back to "Install" button up top. CLick it to install that one game and it won't take, like, 70% of your RAM.
