Can you play servers on from the original game

Me and my friend are huge fans of halo and I got mcc on pc cuz my Xbox is broken and need to know a way to play with him without using the split screen mod and he doesn’t have mcc

The short answer is that no, Halo MCC is not compatible with any of the original Halo games in any way.

The original Xbox was also running halo 2 times at once and it performed fine

well I only have mcc and im not sure if he has 2 but i know he has 4 thats for sure oh well we'll work something out thanks for the help

I think the gearbox version has a mod to play coop also that one is alot better then Mcc Mcc crashes alot, just saying mods Mcc not good I have played it vanilla without mods and it crashes two to three levels in when I play the gearbox edition I can play all the way though.
