Season 8 has been the worst update so far, they've ruined Halo 2 completely. The armour does not fit a Halo game at all. The F are they doing over at 343.
The armor is fine and the complaining about it is nonsensical hysteria for the sake of being Angry At Video Games (tm).
I'm more angry at the fact that they broke Halo 2 completely. You can't do the classic gap jump on Regret anymore...You can't headglich some walls anymore because they changed the character model. Some sword flies don't work anymore either.
"they broke halo 2 completely, here's a list of glitches they fixed."
I don't understand people's desire to come up with literally anything they can to justify being in a continuous outrage over computer games.
I understand that you multiplayer people think it's a good update because you got your armour and your customization, while us who mainly play the campaign get a completely broken Halo 2, it's almost unplayable now.
So they fixed bugs and glitches that Bungie left in the game.
It's not broken, you were just relying exclusively on exploiting bugs and glitches to play the game, and you can't do that anymore.
Your thread OP doesn't even have merit because as I said, the Speed Running community will be ecstatic over these changes because they'll result in new categories which means more opportunities for people to claim world records.
They were not glitches, slide jumping is not a glitch, super bounce is not a glitch, it's breaking the game so it gives you a super bounce so you don't fall off the map. Head glitching is literally just sticking your head in the wall so you don't get killed by enemies.
I'm friends with people who run it and one who's been on GDQ. Nobody is actually pissed aside from the small number of wannabe's that can't actually dream of even placing let alone hold a record or be featured anywhere because they can't just use tech other people discovered to show off to 5 other people.
Slide Jumping and Super Bounce were glitches, they were not intended game behavior. And you can't actually be seriously trying to tell me that being able to shove your head in a wall to avoid death was intended by Bungie lmao
Ah the classic succ 343 ballz trope
Bungie knew about all this stuff and left them in because they improved their game and made more people play them, 343 did the same thing. Now they just decided to kill the game before abandoning it for Infinite.
So glitches. And their removal was fixing those glitches.
Thank you for confirming that.
ah the classic "game dev bad" trope
