It's insane.
Personally, I feel they should make it that quitters just get lobbied with other quitters before putting them with decent human beings myself though. Include a scale system, the more you quit, the more likely you're going to be placed with other quitters. It doesn't go away with time either, you need to stop quitting in order stop being placed with quitters if it bothers you. The more you quit, the more games you need to play completely before it starts changing.
I mean, since people feel that people be allowed to quit at any given moment. Then they should have absolutely no problem playing with nothing but quitters in their matches right? They can even remove the quit ban feature entirely with this.
Why would anyone want to do this? People want fresh new matches. We don't want to tossed into a match where as soon as we enter we have to quickly figure out just what the heck is even going on and quickly adjust to the situation.
Yeah, except most people don't leave for something important, I'd argue that nearly 100% are for selfish reasons and they only claim it's something important coming up is just to try to justify a good reason to having to leave.
"Something big came up"
Yeah, don't believe you liar lol... More so when I see you just requeued up for a match right after leaving.
Quit penalties have been in the game since the original release of Halo 2 though and the franchise still isn't dead.
I wasn't aware that people just wanting fun matches from start to finish that constantly get ruined by dead beat losers that abandon minutes into a match regularly qualify them to be MLG Tryhards.
Late reply but yeah I get your sentiment here and that is the only issue
I rarely play online mp games anymore, and can't say what the current MM experience is like on MCC but when I did last try it, the quitting just got so old.. if it wasn't team mates quitting it was the enemy team
But I suggested custom games because that's typically what I go to after work and stuff if I want to play with other people but only have a few hours or might have to leave suddenly
It can work with customs if you have enough friends though and can organise a time to play
I feel like the hard-core players are only thing keeping MCC alive anyway tbh.. these are old games these days which would mostly only appeal to old fans
Infinite is another choice but that's another discussion entirely as the game was kinda meh lol
Played the campaign on gamepass for £1, was fun and could see how they tried to capture that same magic from halo 1s campaign but felt flat, especially when the game launched with no co-op, no forge, nothing but that base concept
What stinged for me is that the splitscreen they WERE working on actually worked, then they just ditch it.. like they do everything splitscreen
I get it, people dont care about splitscreen anymore but they could at least give the pc version of MCC splitscreen.. I have an xbox 360 under my TV cabinet and I'm not gonna buy an xbox one or series console just to get MCC with decent framerate
I do appreciate their updates to MCC since its launch on xbox, but 343 and also Microsoft really need to do better with Halo.. it's their biggest flagship IP and Halo deserves better
>biggest
>flagship
it's not the 2000's/early 2010s anymore lol. Microsoft doesn't need to care about Halo anymore.
Also campaign splitscreen had issues in Infinite and because nobody played mp splitscreen, Microsoft pulled the plug.
Well yeah they haven't got a single flagship tbh, I know it's not the 2000s but considering Halo and also the newest Forza Motorsport was a flop
I don't care what year it is lol.
Also if they would enable joining during the match we would be able to replace them. Which has been stated. Everything else u said in your OG post is either irrelevant to the debate or nonsensical.
and I'll take a reliable teammate, even if they're not the best possible teammate available over dead weight. At least I know they'll stick to the game to the very end.
When it comes to join in progress, I'll only accept that if there's a way to opt out of being placed in matches that have already started.

This bit would cater to what everyone wants.
1. People who hate quit bans will no longer be banned for quitting.
2. People that want reliable teammates will get reliable teammates.
What downside is there to this to you? You're literally having the thing your complaining about given to you. Being able to leave without the fear of being banned, while also giving people who want more reliable teammates from start to finish during matches.
Not agreeing with what I have to say does not in any way make it irrelevant to the debate or nonsensical. If you have nothing of value to add to a conversation with a comment, you'd do better off keeping your mouth shut.
