Does the Arbiter mission suck?
Was playing this mission last night, and I do enjoy the story from the mission but I felt like the mission was kinda bad. Brining in the Sentinels, the Flood and the exploding things just made it feel even worse, too much crap going on... Am I the only one that thinks this?

Yeah it's not great. The elevator ride in particular goes on for way too long, the level design and enemy placement really doesn't support the Arbiter's camo mechanic and the Banshee section should be exciting when really it's just boring.

I kinda like them, I think playing as the Arbiter is one of the highlights of the 2nd game

The Arbiter gets all the dark missions while the master chief gets all of the open missions with the snipers, go figure....

His early levels suck but I think his last level is pretty darn good.

Have you followed the plot at all? Arbiter lost his rank of shipmaster due to destruction of the first halo, therefore he was made to undertake suicidal tasks for the prophets and their great journey. That includes having ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons and hard tasks for the player. In the meantime, Master Chief is only doing his duty while being equal to everyone else and supported by their command.

I do recommend reading the lore as it will clear up some things the game itself doesn't. There's so much more to the plot and it is interesting :D

I know the plot well enough, I find it just odd the guy with the flashlight has most of his missions during the day where you don't need it, while the one with active cameo usually is in dark levels.
