Update the Featured Items in the Exchange
Can we get an update to the Featured items in the Exchange? They've been the same since the end of the Halo 2 Anniversary items about a year and a half ago. It
would be nice if these changed once a month or maybe every 2 or 3 months. We haven't had another chance to get the Halo 2 Anniversary items and the celebration poses since they were introduced, Rotating the featured items occasionally would be a good place to offer them.

Such things as:
  • Including past Seasonal Challenge Items that have never entered it for coming up on four [BEEP]ing years (Which was the purpose that The Exchange was to serve in the first place)
  • Including previously available items made exclusive to The Exchange as part of the roster
  • Updating the Weekly Roster to actually provide the maximum amount of items per week as a whole rather than merely for the Not-Series 9 inventory, as well as rotating more consistently than the vastly outdated "annual or longer" schedule it's following at present
It's something they've been able to adjust on the fly or without any major or disruptive updates, so I'm very inclined to believe that, at best, it's at the bottom of the priority list of anybody that may still be working on maintenance or other improvements for The Master Chief Collection, or at worst, it's been completely neglected after the attempt to make Season/Spartan/Series Points a Micro-Transaction didn't succeed and their remaining assets in the pipeline were all released.

I know what you mean I got 760 challenge points right now I'm sitting on and I can't do anything with them because the exchange items just keep rotating what I have. I'm only missing the items from the previous seasons that required playing ranked matchmaking which sucks because I really like the arctic sniper camo from Halo 3.

I think they need to add microtransactions.

To the Halo Infinite Free-To-Play Multiplayer? Abso-bloody-lutely. They keep "vaulting" or otherwise making items-outside-of-passes unavailable for purchase on a seasonal basis for reasons a player/customer can only discern as arbitrary that I honestly cannot see how 343 Industries or Microsoft could be possibly left in doubt as to why they're not making all of the money in the world through that game alone when they're not only setting prices for them that people find unreasonably high, but they're even being picky as to what they want people to spend their money on and when.

To The Master Chief Collection? I shouldn't have to feel the need to say that the vast amounts of piss being taken with Halo Infinite wasn't to make The Master Chief Collection join in on it, but I'm sure somebody reading what you have said might end up taking you seriously, so I'll say it anyway: For the aforementioned reasons among others, Abso-[BEEP]ing-luelty not.
why not? i don't see a reason to why adding micro transactions would be bad for halo mcc if only to be able to buy spartan points, mind explaining/expanding

All the Halo 2 Anniversary items should have been a series 9. And they could have padded it out with some of the Halo 3 items that rarely find their way through the weekly exchange. I rally wish they'd offer the Rhino Armor again. But seriously, the Featured items should at least change with every update.

Well, since you asked and I've done so before (You can search 'Exchange' or 'Micro-Transaction' in my Post History if you want a shorter, albeit less up-to-date read), I can try to do so again.

Rather than providing Spartan Points for purchase to "alleviate 'The Grind'" that 343 Industries themselves created starting with the arrival of Halo: Reach into The Master Chief Collection and adjusted or added to over time, they could very simply instead consider trying the following instead, based on what they have already done and/or stopped doing:

Retrospectively speaking:
  • Not siphoning items from the 'Seasonal'/'Series' Unlock Trees into The Exchange (Up to 3 Items can be stacked per unlock, and they have actually done that plenty of times for earlier 'Seasonal'/'Series' Unlock Trees, but then stopped when they decided they had to start sticking Energy Sword skins or even part of the full 'Seasonal' armour sets in The Exchange to make room for such things as Nameplates to have their sole slot on the Unlock Tree, presumably because not enough E N G A G E M E N T was being generated or something), which alongside the name-change from 'Season' to 'Series' and the 'Catalog(ue)' that accompanied it, a whole 'Series' worth of new items was dumped into The Exchange and hasn't yet rotated back around since (They should do sometime this year if nothing still changes).
  • Not making the original Halo: Reach & Halo 3: ODST customisation unlockable all over again in the first place (Their new additions I wouldn't disagree with, but if anybody was celebrating the fact that they had to unlock everything from the original games all over again and that Offline/Guest Profiles on Xbox were unable to access them as a result, I can't recall encountering them)
Now, presently speaking:
  • Updating The Exchange to provide certain Seasonal Challenge reward items that have yet to be included in it at all for coming up on four [BEEP]ing years such as the 'Avalanche' paintjob for the Halo 3 Sniper Rifle (Which was the purpose that The Exchange was to serve in the first place)
  • Actually updating The Exchange weekly rotation to cycle between all past contents consistently & with the maximum of 5 items available per week rather than repeating current contents that also do not include the maximum of five items per rotation (Which was seemingly only done consistently for the not-Series 9 contents they stuffed into The Exchange instead, which still haven't yet seen their second rotation as of yet)
  • Making the still-unavailable 'Law's End' either available as it should be or removing it if it is not to be made available as was done for the 'ONI' paintjob for the Halo 3 Warthog that was once in the Customisation Menu (This removal was officially disclosed, but that's either deep within Halo Support's Patch Notes or within what the Wayback Machine can recover from the Halo Waypoint website pre-overhaul)
  • Consolidating the Weekly & Monthly PvE & PvP Challenges into shared-mode Challenges for which PvE & PvP play can equally progress each Challenge to allow all modes of play to be able to earn the maximum Season -- excuse me -- Spartan -- No -- Series -- forget it -- S-Points available for those given Weeks & Months (Such Challenges have existed in the past, notably the Seasonal Challenges).
  • Alternatively, creating a new 'Series' to provide everything that was siphoned off from their 'Seasons'/'Series' into The Exchange to be now available regardless of timing (All while taking full advantage of the demonstrable fact that at least 3 items can be stacked per unlock)

The most recent change to 'The Grind', I believe following them cancelling plans to introduce micro-transactions into The Master Chief Collection, was to provide S-Points to every rank earned rather than merely the first 100 earned (Better late than never, right?).
Nevertheless, getting to the point, why should any player have to pay money to get around the issue(s) that 343 Industries not only created for themselves, but continue to neglect, if not refuse to address, let-alone solve?
thx for the answer, however i may just be dumb (im quite sleep deprived so my reading skill isn't up to par) but i failed to see why those would be reasons against adding micro transactions specifically for spartan points alone, some just seemed like they needed other fixes like adding said items to the exchange or to a new series 9, again if i missed why im sorry
