halo campaign leaderboards hacked??

so im not expert in speed running and im certainly no speed runner myself, but i noticed ive towered above every single one of my friends times on flood gate on legendary on halo 3. so i figured id go and have a look how do i am world wide only to find first place of floodgate legendary is held by a guy called "StonyCart443523" with 29 seconds. there is no footage of this run from what i can see and that just doesn't seem humanly possible. so how is this on the leader board? if it is legit i'd love to see the footage

ah then why dont they remove it. that ruins a part of the game that i bet a lot of people enjoy

Based on my knowledge, barely anyone actually look at those mission stats. If you want actual legit speedrun times/score, go to a certified speedrun site like speedrun.com, and you do need actual footage to be marked into those.

For a brief time the Halo 2 Uprising record was held by someone who had used the Acrophobia skull. I remember seeing the clip as a parody of a proper speedrun. (It was on Reddit. I really wish I could find it again.) It could be that whoever has that record, if they aren't using some other glitch and aren't actually bypassing Easy Anti-Cheat, used that skull in some way.

Almost every game has it's hacker. You want beat a score or time or something on hte leaderboard, but yo usee some impossible time/score/whatever. Like in Mirror's Edge where someone on top 1 beated a map around 3-5 secs.
That's why I go for achievements and challenges.
