Halo 2 Achievement Issues

There's something wrong with earning achievements in Halo 2. I've been trying for the par times on Legendary and have gotten to mission 10, so far very few achievements actually pop up after completing a mission. Sometimes I have to quit and reload the game for them to appear, other times, they simply won't - I had to replay Metropolis to get the completion, par time, and par score achievements.

To clarify - I am earning _some_ achievements, but they are erratic and unreliable. I validated the game files, and I don't have the vortex domain blocked. I'm curious why this issue is happening. So far, along with some horrid audio glitches, earning achievements has been my biggest issue (e.g. bug, problem, error) with MCC.

I've had no issues with par time or par score achievements thus far. They've always unlocked immediately after completion without fail.

To further that: Some only unlock on Steam and not X-box Live, while others unlock on X-box Live but not Steam. The latter can be fixed with SAM, but it's kind of dumb that six months later, Reach's broken achievements aren't fixed. CE's aren't either and 2 has broken achievements as well.

The QA at 343/Saber/et. al. is really bad it seems.

Thanks for this. I have not gotten the "Are we there yet" achievement, but that doesn't explain why I didn't get the one for beating Delta Halo or the one for Metropolis (and par time) until doing it for the second time.

I haven't earned any Legendary completion achievements yet...

Played an FFA Slayer game where I got 16 different medals (yes I did check correctly - it was 46 total, 16 different ones) and didn't get the achievement. I just want the Pistol emblem.

UPDATE: I earned (but did not receive) "So You Don't Want the Tank?," "Are We There Yet?," and "Big Green Style," which have been positively identified as bugged achievements. I did get the "And So It Begins..." achievement which is also listed as bugged.

one achievement i didnt get was tighten up the graphics which is to Complete every level of Halo 2 having seen it in both classic and remastered mode. and i am always switching between old and new so i dont understand why i dont have it

I got it randomly today while playing Metropolis even though I've played every mission in old and new graphics. So, yeah it's a bit weird.

Halo 2 achievements you can unlock in game, but not in steam.

Also we couldn't unlock Decorated Warrior with my friend (I personaly dont tryied yet), we played CTF and FFA. Anyone can confirm to getting this achievement recently?
