Anybody else's game crashing when loading certain Halo 2 missions?

This happens every time on Outskirts and Regret.

I haven't made it past the cargo hold on Cairo station on legendary, yet. I wish I had an easier time, but it seems a little harder on PC than it did on the original Xbox. I keep running out of ammunition before I get past the third wave coming out of the attached drop ships. So, I don't know. But, as soon as I get that far, I can let you know. BTW, I have only been playing it for a total of 2.2 hrs.

Any movement on this? I had one crash when loading Regret and I still can't load Outskirts at all, I've managed to play every single mission except that one.

I've been able to load every mission, but for some reason Outskirts, Regret and sometimes The Great Journey just then produces a fatal error, crashing the game and nobody else seems to be talking about this.

Yeah. also reach multiplayer is not running with the usual 60fps i had

Not crashing, but super slow (up to a minute, compared to Reach or CE at 10ish seconds- EVO 860 SSD)

I've been dealing with this since launch. Now it happens every time I'm about to load a mission. Regret won't load, outskirts kept crashing as well. So did Oracle a little. I thought I was the only one

Like I dread Blur cutscenes now because that's where the game will lock up. I've uninstalled the game. Will redownload and see if that fixes Anything but I'm not holding my breath

Still no luck loading outskirts. I also noticed for crash I got when loading Regret that the game was using all 16gb of my physical memory and a bunch of virtual as well. Might be that the game has a potential memory leak during loading...

Wow. Yeah I have issues with the exact same missions. So I uninstalled the game, cleared any trace of it I could find and reinstalled the MCC. Same issue. The game is broken. This was the one game I was looking forward to the most

So I fixed mine for now by increasing my page file to 6GB and reseating my RAM. My system was running on 8GB instead of the 12 Gb it had. Seems this game is a memory hog

I filed a ticket to Halo Support. Hopefully I can get an answer from one of their staff members.
