Against shields, a leg shot is as good as a body shot as good as a headshot - i usually aim for the torso if i'm fighting a fresh opponent, and only move up for the head when i know i've laid a bunch into their shield and it's about to drop.
I suspect part of it is that my opponents have controllers and the videos ive seen of that a controller is like practically having an aim bot, but that still doesnt quite make sense of it.
Eh people whine but there are advantages to both controllers/mouse. The Banshee turns on a dime with the mouse, and is borderline overpowered. The mouse is also a lot better for hitting stuff at long range since lock on only works if your zoomed in on controller.
To the OP it's basically try to land 3 bursts center mass then start shooting at their head. If you see the lightning effect that means their shields are down so just start shooting at the head immediately.
