Halo 3, ODST, and 4 Download problems
I've been having issues installing these three games from Steam. The install says 400-something megabytes and it installs that much. However, when I go to manage my DLC it says that Halo 3 Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4 are still "Downloading". Also, when I go in-game to manage the installed content, like campaigns and multiplayer data, these three games don't show up as options to play. This is a problem with both the campaigns and multiplayer.

Yeah, I mean you hope it's a troll. The only other explanation is that OP drinks two tins of lead paint each day.

Nah, I actually thought I had a bug or something. I have MCC on Xbox, so I just assumed that all the games were out already. my bad. you guy's are hella toxic

Nobody is toxic.

It's written on the store page because literally thousands of people like you come asking the same question. You can see EXACTLY how complete each game is through the pictures on the page....

Its literally a meme at this point and I find it crazy how nobody does any research on the matter. Not just that actually! But also the fact that people somehow just don't know this... like they literally said not all games are gonna be out at launch.

Then why bother releasing the base games till they were done porting? It sounds more troll to me to release them with so many bugs than to wait till they iron out all the kinks.
If you already own Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One, Halo: Reach and Halo 3: ODST will be DLC items to purchase in the Microsoft Store. If you need to purchase the additions, you may do so via the Xbox Store now. To install your additions, you can do one of the following:

On your Xbox One console:
Navigate to the Halo: The Master Chief Collection tile and press the menu button.
Scroll down to "Manage game & add-ons" and press A
On the left-hand side, scroll down to "Ready to install" and press A
Select the appropriate selection on the right and install it
Installing Remotely:
Ensure that Remote Install is enabled on your Xbox One console
Open your Xbox One Console's Settings menu
Navigate to "General" then "Power mode & startup"
Set your power mode to "Instant-on"
Navigate back to Settings
Scroll down to "System" then "Updates & downloads"
Select "Allow remote installations" under "Downloads"
You can install to a remote device from the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10, or from the Microsoft Store in a web browser.
On the game’s product page, select […] next to the Install button, and then Install on my devices.
You’ll see a list of all devices to which you can install remotely.
Select the devices you want to install the game to, and then select Install now.
If you need to reinstall Halo: The Master Chief Collection, you can press the Xbox Guide Button and navigate to "My games & apps"
Select "See all"
Navigate to "Ready to install"
Find Halo: The Master Chief Collection and press A
Install all

I thought that since the MCC was so old already that they had finished the collection. why would they create multiple versions of the games? Like Combat Evolved or 2 Anniversary? I know I sound like a mong posting this. I'm just confused.

it's 343, they took literally 6 years to make the xbox version playable and have been buggily porting the games with their sweet time, expect H3 over the summer, H3ODST mid-late summer, H4 fall-ish at least.

Holy crap. I don't live under a rock. No one here was talking about the Xbox edition. jesus christ. I was just confused that the collection was released in 2014 and it wasn't actually complete and why they'd release multiple versions of CE and 2. That was all.
