There aren't any errors from what I've read here. The Master Chief Collection has all of the games included, so you wouldn't need to pay for more DLC. Everything is already in here.
You would have to download the games in-game in order to play them. The first thing you would need to do is to open the Master Chief Collection first and go to the Main Menu.
Then, go to Options & Career >> Settings >> Gameplay >> Change Installed Games.
By that point, you will see a collection of games to play starting from Halo CE all the way to Halo 4. Click on whichever campaigns/multiplayer games you want to play, and whenever you are done, click "Accept Selection" at the bottom left corner of the screen.
What's left is to wait for the downloads to finish, and now you can play these games whenever and however you want to start.
Let me know if you have any questions.
When you first buy MCC and install. It only installs Reach because that's the game that launched MCC on Steam. It's annoying, but I think they did it this way because not everyone wants all the games installed and not everyone has over 100gb extra space to install all of it so it's nice we are able to pick and choose what we want to install even if it is annoying for us who want to install the whole thing.
