Specifically for CO-OP player 2 (or whoever is not host) typically gets some lag, so just fair warning.
Halo CE and Halo 2 are only 2 player, the rest are 4 Player Co-Op. There is also the Firefight PvE in Reach and ODST, which are not related to story, and Halo 4 Spartan Ops which is Story focused and meant to come after playing through all the games.
If you are playing through the games for the first time, halo CE and 2 are remasters but you can switch between old and new graphics on the fly, I highly recommend halo CE in original graphics if you can handle the low polly count. Halo 2 remastered was done much better. Either way for both games Easter egg terminal videos were added for the remasters many of which contain spoilers for later in the game and in the series and should be avoided on a first play through.
That's very good to know and unfortunately not self-explaining with 0 halo experience^^
