stuck on the oracle (halo 2)

i finished the part after the first elevator section where you're in the room where you get attacked by flood. after that there's supposed to be a door that opens and heretics go through it but the door just doesn't open for me. i tried loading last checkpoint, restarting my game, and restarting my pc. is there a fix for it or should i just skip to the next level? it doesn't really matter anyway because i'm replaying the game and the oracle is a boring level for me.

After you kill the 3 Heretic elites that come through the door, 4 flood will jump down from random positions above. Once you've killed them it's a minute timer until the door opens. If it's not opening it means one of them got stuck somewhere above you.

i just restarted the level and that worked, but thanks for trying to help anyway

if you are playing multiplayer you both have to walk in the room with the red door
