Modding for MCC on Gampepass PC
I feel like I have done everything and I cannot for the life of me get this mod to work. Can anyone help me with getting this problem sorted. I have searched everywhere I feel like and yet, have found no solution.

What mod?

gamepass, or windows store, is often difficult or impossible to mod since microsoft insist on encypting the game files, if you want to use mods, get the game on steam and use the workshop, it is the only option i know that is supported by the dev team.

Its the Ultimate Firefight Mod, I already gave up after finding 0 information on it. I think its just too complicated of a mod to do with the gamepass. Ill just wait for the winter sale and get it for 4.99 or something...

Download it from nexus mods. Then go to the drive you have downloaded mcc. then to the mcc folder. you will need to change the permission on there and then you can mod the game

You won't get access to the game's Steam Workshop via the Windows Store or Game Pass release, so you'll have to install mods for it the old fashioned & manual way.

This typically involves replacing the relevant base game files with the mod's files (Make sure you properly back-up the relevant base game's files before doing so), but it depends on the mod in question. Mods that offer manual installation alternatives are often found via NexusMods[www.nexusmods.com] or ModDB, but there's no guarantee that all of them have been kept up-to-date with the current version of The Master Chief Collection (I can at least say that the NexusMods release for Ultimate Firefight Sandtrap[www.nexusmods.com] is). Bear in mind, this is me talking about the Steam release prior to it's Workshop support, which has the game files wide open to be explored, so I can't comment on differences the Windows Store or Game Pass release might have in this regard.

Otherwise, it might just be easier to fetch the Steam release come a major sale (It does often go for a steep discount during such sales, so keep it on your Wishlist & you should be informed when it does & how much), especially as it also comes included with all of the official mod tools along with the Steam Workshop support & Steam Deck verification.

I have done that and it did not work, I gave up.

Its probably because you are still using the eac enabled mcc. You should use eac off mcc. and make sure the mod is for the current mcc and not older version
