I get what you mean, not everyone is a fan of those lines since they seem to limit the field of view in combat because of the visual "noise". Sadly I dont use mods so I cant help you in that area (however you can try to increase FOV limiters to desired levels, especially the first 2 Halos originally have very little FOV due to technical limitations back then, MCC updated all games to allow the player to set the FOV sliders for 1st and 3rd person view). Playing Halo CE with native FOV and 100ish makes a huge difference, for example, increasing the FOV in games that use the "visor" HUD from my experience enhanced the experience as well. I run my game with a 100 FOV on both sliders atm.
