Bad optimized game ?

Tried the game, have some low drop + game micro-stutter. (Make the game very tedious to to play.)

I have a 3090ti and the full package, should not be a problem normally. Only other game I had similiar problem with.... was... gears of war, another Xbox game...

Update all your GPU drivers and ethernet drivers since some ethernet drivers caused stuttering on this game. Also quit any programs you don't use that are active like Razor stuff. I have a 3070 and all games run smoothly with high fps for me.

I ran all the games on the Steam Deck at max settings with a steady 60fps. Not the game.

Are you using a wireless mouse or controller? sometimes I get that when the battery gets low.

Does it happen to all the games? Halo CE and 2 campaign on anniversary graphic suffers from bad optimization due to large amount of things behind the map and render distance.

Try the tips above it's most likely your ethernet driver. The grenade thing is a known issue.

There's some problems with halo 1 and 2 anniversary. If you set all settings to high the game will stutter even in original graphics while all objects look like they are made out of 5 polygons. Set all graphics settings to medium and turn off the windows game bar (even if you have a good PC) and stutter should go away. It's definitely not the driver issue as some replies suggest, my PC is also new/high end and i had constant stutter in these 2 games. Don't know which game you had a problem with, but personally for me all other games function great, except for the halo 1 and 2. Which is also weird because i played both of these the day they came out on my none gaming low end laptop and they both performed just fine. My guess is the studio broke something in one of their new updates, who even knows at this point.

The performance runs better if you play on the classic graphics without switching to Anniversary, If so, it instantly build up more RAM for the entire session.

I only tried Halo CE (I guess its called CE ? The first mission is in a ship while some alien go into the ship and you should escape while its a war in the ship.), did not try others Halo games yet !

Dude it's the same for me. I have an i7 14700kf, 64 gigs of ram and a 4080 Super snd the game runs like ♥♥♥♥.

Performs better on my ROG Ally X running Bazzite.

Ive been digging into this for a while and the consensus I've found is A.) remastered graphics are a problem and B.) newer Nvidia GPUs seem to run the game poorly
