Invite player does nothing.
Wanted to play Halo CE co op mode(both got Halo: The Master Chief Collection) with my fried on steam(both have steam accounts). I see him in menu but when I select invite player nothing happens, he does the same and nothing happens, no error, nothing. Any advice?

You inviting through steam menu or through MCC's menu? I get the same problem trying to invite people through MCC and just go through steam.

Try logging into multiplayer, invite him, then go back to the main menu and start the campaign. it worked for me

through MCC's menu

Try Shift Tab and use Steam's invite.
