does the nameplate have to be completed on Legendary to be unlocked ? (it doesnt said so tho). the only nameplate rewarded for playing on legendary is the one you have to complete in 3 hours

well ofc from the beginning. check my achivement, i only got the achievement for starting the game/tutorial, and its bugged ever since. I dont have any nameplate because of this

Never had rewards before, outside of the achievements.
There is no solo progression/campaign progression system.
so there is no reason to play the story again unless you want.
I beat it on legendary recently. it was actually easier than I remembered.

He wants to make sure you watched/did the cutscene mission in legendary. Because it counts as well.

On that note, you did Lone Wolf in Legendary and let the covenant kill you right?

my first playthrough was completed in Heroic no cutscene were skipped. and mine was bugged like some people have reported to. (i dont have any achievement nor nameplate for completing mission or doing specific challenge like killing enemy with forklift or killing Emus)

im planning to play in legendary, but since i wont get any achievement due to this silly bug, I thought to myself, why bother ?

my point is, if you happens to have this bug you wont be bother completing the game on legendary as your achievement/progression wont count

If you beat the game on legendary you get an extra cutscene showing Gabe Newell walking on Reach with a copy of the real Half Life 3 not the VR thing. Then the camera slowly zooms-in to his face and he says "It was worth the wait". Then he jumps and starts flying into the sunset and the credits roll in.
