Can't load pillar of autumn

Can't load pillar of autumn campaign on legendary. Playlist loads me at a swordbase checkpoint and If I try to load directly through mission select it takes me back to the mission select screen after loading really fast. Not only that, but if I try to load it through the playlist it will show it loading pillar of autumn, and load me at the swordbase checkpoint way early in campaign....any help? solutions?

(Update) Tried to verify all game files in steam. One file was recovered. However I tried loading pillar of autumn again, and same issue.

Try to click escape before the game kick you.

I have the same bug 2 times, 1 time was fixed by restarting, 2 time clicking escape very quickly.

will def try it, i deleted maps folder and reinstalled MCC, going to reverify files and see what happens.

hey be careful if deleting "maps" file. I had to undelete it from recycle bin. Reinstalling MCC did not refresh the file

so i did what you said inside the quickplay set up instead of the playlisting and it worked. Not sure why I can't play through the playlist, but esc worked lol thanks

having the same problem for 2 days now pillar of autumn wont load in the campaign it says that it is then cuts pack to the resume campaign screen

give the esc key a try, I did it right as the screen went dark and it worked for me. It seems like it only would work through quick play though

Using the repair option of steam solved the problem.
