Weird Freeze
Game worked since launch, now every time I play, I get in to a game, then the screen freezes, and all of the sounds cut out one by one. Is there anything I should check for, or a known fix for this issue?
Not sure if this is helpful info but I can only close the game when this happens with Ctrl Alt Del and opening Task Manager, Alt F4 doesn't work and neither does Alt Tab.

Edit: Game works fine in single player modes (firefight and custom game included.) Loaded in to a public firefight game after those worked fine, and got the same freeze.

Tried verifying files through steam. Didn't work. Also, I tried running the launcher as admin because that fixed a previous issue I had with the anti cheat preventing me from opening the game or something, and now the game refuses to open, saying there's already a launcher open.

Same weirdness happened to me after the latest update. I quit out of game and restarted my computer and steam and things have been fine since. I’d recommend you give that a shot if you haven’t already.

Unfortunately I'm still getting the same garbage after restarting. Also getting crashes on start with UE4 not working.

im having the same issue, except i cant even close the game with task manager, have to restart the PC entirely

Not alone, had mine working perfect since launch and now game freezes on any first match since recent update, won't close too so have to restart PC. Unplayable atm

This was their answer to the support ticket i wrote

Our recent investigation into the “Connection Interrupted” error and associated mid-match disconnections has determined that NAT settings are the root cause. Please check your router’s settings and ensure that all NAT related settings are set to ‘Open’ or an equivalent option. In addition to NAT type, some routers have options for NAT filtering that will need to be adjusted.

We ask that you check your router settings directly and do not rely on third party software to verify router settings. It may also be helpful to research your router and ensure that you are aware of all other settings which may impact NAT.

If you do not have access to your router, please work with the individual or group that does have access to your router. In some cases this may be a network administrator, an ISP, or your school/work IT department. Halo Support is not able to troubleshoot any router or network permission issues.

I haven't tried playing with the router settings cause now I'm just playing Doom Eternal instead.
So I don't know if changing anything in the router actually fixes it. If you try please let us know what you find.
