Minimise and can no longer see game, only hear.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, during campaign games, when you minimise, the game dissapears from the tab, but you can still hear game sound.

It's a very old bug. For some reason, Microsoft sometimes thinks that the MCC is a virtual desktop, so to bring it back you have to hit your windows key + tab. There's a setting your PC settings to turn off Virtual Desktop, find it and turn it off and it won't happen again.

Pretty much this. It was supposed to be fixed, but it looks like they never did or reintroduced the bug.

think you can alt+tab your way back in. this problem is in star trek online as well and it works there.

Boarderless works fine, swap over to that and you'll never have that issue again.

Thanks all for your answers. I messed with some setting in virtual desktop, that seemed to have fixed it.

This is how to fix Halo on windows 11, open Multitasking Settings > Select Desktop > Select show on all desktops.
