Halo 3 Warthog Run, Steel Beams fall and are static

I don't know if I am crazy or not but I specifically remember the steel beams that fall down towards you will then scrape on the ground going to the left or right. Now they just fall and remain static. Am I crazy?

Yep, not sure if it's a bug or something but on the original version the beams move.
