Go to the game it's for. Press Play. It should then just come up with a list of mods before going onto the next screen. The Vanilla game is up top and everything else should follow.
Second: Launch the game VIA steam and select no anti cheat.
Now you get to play modded Halo. Unfortunately you cant complete challenges but thats life.
So i had the same problem and basically had to figure it out. First make sure you have the Halo Mod tools for the game you are modding installed on your steam library. Then in your library go to Halo MCC, right click on it. go to properties. You'll see workshop in the options. click that and make sure your mod is activated. Also make sure you have both the campaign and multiplayer parts installed for the Halo game you are modding.
After all that when you click the game you are moddings campaign you should see the mod. If that doesnt work then i do know.
