Instead of going through deskstop, you have to launch the game with easy anti cheat (EAC) disabled by launching through steam library or taskbar icon (right click steam icon)
thats what i do but i still cant find them

Go to the game it's for. Press Play. It should then just come up with a list of mods before going onto the next screen. The Vanilla game is up top and everything else should follow.

First: Make sure your mods has been activated.
Second: Launch the game VIA steam and select no anti cheat.

Now you get to play modded Halo. Unfortunately you cant complete challenges but thats life.

Important note, if the mod hasn't been updated by the author to work with the latest version of MCC then it won't appear.

The only mods that will work are those that have received updates on or after July 20th. Everything that has come out before will no longer work without the author patching it.

there is no way to toggle on or off the campaign/ singleplayer mods? i know in multiplayer there is modded maps section, but how does it work fpr singleplyer? i have multiple campaign mods i wanted to try out i thought with new mod feature we would be able to switch between them and not have it all applied at once

So i had the same problem and basically had to figure it out. First make sure you have the Halo Mod tools for the game you are modding installed on your steam library. Then in your library go to Halo MCC, right click on it. go to properties. You'll see workshop in the options. click that and make sure your mod is activated. Also make sure you have both the campaign and multiplayer parts installed for the Halo game you are modding.

After all that when you click the game you are moddings campaign you should see the mod. If that doesnt work then i do know.
