LASO achievement question

so i just noticed there is the mutli-game playlist for LASO that makes you play halo ce,2,3,4 and then there are the laso playlist you can find clicking in each separate game campaign. me and a friend of mine are doing the first playlist i just mentioned for the achievement. now my question is: is there a reason to do the one we are doing right now or are we just wasting time? because we completed halo ce but the achievement didn't pop

They don't count if you played on crossgame playlist, You have to play each games individual LASO playlist.
For ODST, there are 2 LASO playlist, pick the one that doesn't skipped all the Rookie missions.
