LOWLEVELFATALERROR [File:Unknown] [Line: 340]
This application cannot be run in remote desktop
I'm playing the game on my main pc and not remotely. Odd behavior
Most likely a corrupt installation because of basic windows settings,
I would believe you have a windows (multitasking) display settings issue, I had the same issue before, went to (multitasking) disable show suggestions in timeline,
(Virtual desktops)setting=only the desktop I am using,
disable shared experience
disable onedrive=hence duplicate files sound fun for conflicts.
windows Display settings
=disabled HDR, to prevent multi-able versions of HDR Layering creating a memory error before crash or a horrible dark grain effect on the screen even with high gamma settings.
Updated visual C Redist
Installed windows SDK minimal basic's
Disabled added network assistance, in which is only used when contacting Microsoft for support directly and not by some scam company ran in India.
Deleted old installation configuration then validated game files.
Refer to support guides, or reach out to support
you might not have the same problem I had, we all have different hardware so its better to go through the process of safe-mode techniques to solve the problem whether its a in-compatible setting that is automatically enable or just something as simple as deleting old game appdata installed configuration files, and validating the game files after removing old ones.
Most Fatal error's are related to memory error's, most memory errors occur when setting are set to high or many more reasons that I wish not to go into, or trying to run a game that got an updated and requires the consumer to do some basic technical updates on their system to meet their new requirements for the game.

launch augment might work, just added advice if your having issues with pre-set configuration conflicts between updates, when settings are auto configured to be set above your hardware limits, you might have a problem like I had.
I tried your methods and unfortunately none of that worked, and I also don't have remote streaming activated on my PC
Thanks for the reply though, it was definitely worth trying some of the things listed. Maybe if I delete the config file that might help but I don't know if it will do anything or where that is at.
I may just have to wait for a patch, hopefully they fix it quick
