Performance and stability Halo 3 Co-op
Just tried playing Halo 3 campaign with two other friends and I gotta say, the performance was terrible. Game was stuttering for the two people who weren't the host and 5 minutes into the second mission, our games froze and we could only look around but not move. Had to open task manager to close our games. Is this game broken?

When you launch it you'll get 2 options, pick the lower one.

EAC does nothing.
It's the co-op network code.
They're not going to fix it. https://imgur.com/BIUCMvi
You should get a refund if you were only planning to play co-op.

I figured this was it. I enjoyed halo most when CO-OP campaigning it. I can't believe they would ruin the games.

this is what the netcode was like in the og halo 3 game for coop. not as bad but still this was one of the painful things about coop back in the day

Split Screen would have fixed that issue for players like myself who want their family to join them in the same room. Instead we get this awful experience of netcoding circa 1990s dial-up.

it doesn't matter what it was, what matters is they claimed to remaster the games and they run like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when trying to play with people. Why even put the coop option in there if it doesn't even work?

This isn't a port and people really need to stop using this as an excuse of features being poorly put together or simply not delivered.

From the very first sentence on the MCC Store page:

The Master Chief’s iconic journey includes six games, built for PC and collected in a single integrated experience

There is not a single line written anywhere on the Store page that suggests this is a port either, so I don't even understand where this nonsense keeps coming from.

Good point. Honestly on the store page it should also say something like: "Beware, some of the content in this game will not run well and you might as well just stick to playing PVP rather than the story modes with friends. Enjoy, nerds. Thanks for the money".
