We do not know.

That's the big question isn't it. I personally highly doubt it what with them pulling the plug on Win7 support in less than a year. I'm just surprised the MCC collection wasn't exclusive to the windows store.

no as windows 7 does not support dx12 which is what the xbone(s, and x) uses directx 12 aswell as windows 10

Yesterday DirectX12 was brought to Windows 7 through World of Warcraft for the first time and also seeing that the game is on Steam I think it's a good probability to be supported. The question is how will Xbox Live will be connected if it is.

Will probably not happen, but for this I would actually upgrade or dual boot.

Not to be that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but why not get 10? It was a free upgrade (not sure if it still is) but my game performance and system specs have increase overall from 7 substantially. 8 was bad, i skipped that one too except for my laptop, but for gaming 10 is the best version you can have bottom line.

-He din't get free upgrade because of "Cortana" windows spy, or what ever this call before. He was very worry about his private & he don't want to share anyting & collecting his information & windows 10 was a mess with that think but, anyway. It's not seem to worth to upgrade anyway.

-He didn't want to upgrade that anyway. Free or not. Because risk of private/information collecting. Let's just move on...

This is actually not true. The only reason the first-party Xbox games are gated to 10 is because they are trying to push their cross-buy app store crap.

Microsoft chooses not to implement DX12 in Windows 7 because they want to make people purchase (or switch to) Windows 10. Windows 7 is fully capable of supporting DX12. They're even pushing out some DX12 updates for certain games on Windows 7.

@Ecxerta The reason Microsoft was pushing and offering Win 10 for free, because YOU Are the product and they where selling your Personal info and habits.

Windows 10 will brick your system if it updates itself at the wrong time
