Buying individual games vs MCC

So I'm going to buy the collection no matter what but I'm just short on cash at the moment. If I buy Reach for $10 does that reduce the MCC price or should I just wait until I can buy the whole thing?

If you buy the game separately one at a time, it'll cost $55 total whereas MCC bundle will cost $40 which you will save $15 and that's a great deal.

Yeah I got all that I’m just wondering if you get a reduced price for buying one of the games or do you have to pay the full $40

You can always buy the games individually for $45 (saving 10 bucks) by skipping Halo 4.

Is it that bad?

For a game on its own, no, it was good.

For a Halo game, it was weird and didn't really fit with the Bungie games.

The multiplayer was decent though!
