Wait so why is everything listed as DLC?!?

Plus reach has no single player progression!?!?

So does that mean i can just buy Halo 1 & 2 Anniversary, ODST and Reach without having to get Halo 3 & 4?!?

How would that work if you need the base game before you can buy DLC!?!

if one of the games going to count as the base game and the rest DLC!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
(in that case which one?!? don't really care as long as it's not 3 or 4)

These are the sizes of the Xbone ver as posted on these forums.
The full game on Xbone sits at ~77GB.
Halo CE - Campaign: 1GB, Multiplayer: 200MB
Halo 2A - Campaign: 9.5GB, Multiplayer: ~7GB
Halo 3 - Campaign: 5.9GB, Multiplayer: 4.9GB
Halo 3 ODST - Campaign: 7.9GB
Halo 4 - Campaign: 6.7GB, Multiplayer: 8.9GB
Halo Reach - Unknown.

the 6 halo games are listed as DLC, and if you own one or more, you get the MCC "base game" added to your steam library, with the games you've bought accessible in it.

so you don't have to install all of them at once. Say you want to only play Halo 2, and none of the rest. Having them all as DLC means you can only install Halo 2, therefore the games that you don't want to play aren't taking up space on your HDD or SSD. They did this with the Xbox version as well

think of it like this. MCC is the platform, you run that then within it you pick what halo game you want to install / play.

How can you buy DLC without a base game (how did you guys get around this?!?)

because that would make me want to get this collection even more if i can skip those 2.

So they can ne installed individually on xbone too.. never heard that before.

So they finally Fixed Master Chief collection Multiplayer years later right?!

Because Halo 3 and 4 are garbage that nerfed all the Guns/Clips sizes
(ODST at least has the Halo 1 Pistol Silenced)
and has a garbage HUD that takes up all corners of the screen including the middle even without health. (Halo 2's HUD was easily the best and most practical)
(4 Halos are more than enough for me especially when Custom Edition still destroys anything that came after)

But i don't want to trigger any Halo Fanboys so let's just drop it.
(if you can explain how Master Chef gets a new set of armor from just a Firmware UPDATE
i will consider getting 4)

Also mods may also change my mind so no point debating about them yet.
(if we get open world Halo mods like the ODST Hub and mods to restore/add all the guns i will play them all...
and maybe the 2 gun cap limit removed or at least side arms not counting as the 2 would be nice)

but it is cheap already around USD $12 for master chief and $5 for Reach.
I hope we can install them separatedly for each series

Reach is the only one that can be bought separately at this time.
The others will be up for single purchase when they're closer to being released.

You sign into your Xbox Live/Microsoft account when you play Halo. They're releasing in the order of: Halo Reach, Halo CEA, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and then Halo 4.

Yes i meant Chronoligically released not when they actually took place, i assumed as much.
(only reason i don't like that is because i like ODST more than 3 but Reach has Firefight anyway so at least we don't have to wait for the second last game for that)

My actual question is will this count as an Xbox One game on my xbox 360 list?!?
i purposely do not play Xbone games on my main profile so i don't have the
"Xbox One Games" achievements stuck at the top of my History.
(haven't touched GFWL game since before the windows store came out after xbone launched so i don't know)

Basically how will this be treated in my history/achievement list and how will it appear on my 360?!?

purposely didn't even play the DLC for the Halos after 100% the stock games because of the multiplayer spam trophies....

No thanks i'll stick to Halo 1 and 2 Custom edition and el doritos.
That take up a fraction of the size with better quality sound...

Glad i didn't buy it knew something was up when they didn't answer my question about the trophies....

Another reason they should have just ported them when they came out a decade ago....
What no 100 000 000 kill trophy no play every multiplayer map on every game mode in 1 sitting with your asss tied behind your head?!....

Forcing me to buy Halo 4 to even have a chance at completing it.
