ODST Coastal Highway mission bugged?
Since ODST got few more skulls I ran for the par score, muche asier even on Heroic to get the par score. But the final stage the Engineer keep dying. Funny thing notihng shot them that part, Dare simply says we failed the Engineer is dead!
I've tried 3-4 times so far, same issue. This is a bug or cause the new skulls? I will ran a normal mission without any skull. So frustrating. Also it's a game breakign bug.

I checked, run on Normal without skulls = engineer survies. Other difficulty with original skulls = Enginner survives. Sadly I didn't reach the par score. Anyway, this shoudlb e reported to support. since the new skulls, even the ones without the red notice cause so far 1 gamereking bug.

Hi Harbinger857976,

Thank you for your patience.

The developers have an update regarding the issue you reported with the "Coastal Highway" mission. The issue is caused by having the Boom skull enabled during gameplay. This means Vergil will continue to die if this skull is enabled which will halt your progress. You need to de-activate the Boom skull to resolve this issue. Additionally, enabling the Boom skull will now show a warning to players that states, "Use at your own risk".

I will now close this ticket. If you have any other in-game issues, feel free to submit a new ticket.

Thank you,

I found (I think) a workaround that doesn't require deactivating the skull: I left the tank in the way of VRGL's armored vehicle (about halfway from the top of the offramp). This caused VRGL and Dare to spawn safely.

I'm not at all sure of this, but my guess is that something about the armored vehicle with the boom skull is killing VRGL, and leaving the tank in the way allows them to spawn safely while the armored vehicle is held back out of the way. Someone could possibly verify this in Theater mode if they want. I also haven't tested this more than once so it's possible I just got lucky and it didn't glitch and I'm fooling myself into thinking I made a difference.

I had the same issue. VRGL would die when getting out at the last part. Leaving the tank in the middle of the offramp they spawned more at the bottom.

I do not know how, and I do not care how you found this. Just wish you best on your life beacause you help me finish this game on Xbox after 343 Industries seems broke it even without skulls and on "normal" difficulty.

Is there a way to disable this skull mid game?

Late comment, same trick worked for me too, this seems to be the solution to this issue.
