If you're talking about the gap to where you are hitting a big shiny pipe you don't jump that. Slow down a bit before the drop off and you should land on another thing of Maintenace road missing the giant pipe completely. That is completely intentional. Recommend a controller for finer speed control if you can't get it right with keyboard.
