File Share Private files corrupted by YapYap THE DESTROYER when downloaded.

My private files (file share) keep getting replaced with "Corrupt File" created by YapYap THE DESTROYER, any ideas? It's just my files from Halo 3 and stuff so maybe it's just corrupting them and for some reason using that name since Halo 3 isn't out yet.

even if you wasnt trying to play it, you should never download and add gamefiles for a game that has yet to be released unless the devs offers a pre-load download....

But devs offering a pre-load option is very rare and i have only seen that happen twice (only for the games i have bought) in all the years i have been playing.

Its custom game and forge map files not illicit halo 3 files. You can even download your own 2a/3 and 4 files from your fileshare despite the games not being available on pc yet.

I dl'd my entire fileshare when reach launched and my 3 and 4 files are corrupt as well. They did show normally back in dec. though.

files that are not part of the mcc pc version for now. you can technically add them, doesn't mean it won't lock the game

It's certainly an easter egg. How exactly did you add them? Did you put them where the Halo: Reach files go? Did the files change in Windows File Explorer or in-game?

I went to my old account from the main menu by searching for it through "search for players" typed the name, and from there I could access its fileshare.
