Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Possible to get previous seasons items?
Is this possible or is it a one time deal for each season? I think it was season 7 that had that sweet looking yellow armour. But now it's not available to unlock anymore.

When you go under "Options & Career" to "Seasons", you see what you can unlock. There are actually two lines that are easy to miss at first. Their keyboard shortcuts are "Q" and "E" as well as "A" and "D" — try those. You can browse through the tiers of one seasons and — what you are looking for — the seasons themselves. That's how you can unlock items from different seasons.
I don't see them. Where do I look at the previous seasons' items?

Try typing "Q", "E", "A", "D" when you are in the Seasons view. You will see. :)
I'm looking for this one

I scrolled through all seasons and all unlocks but I couldn't find it.
Oh, the Rhine Armor has been a "The Exchange"-exclusive. It will hopefully reappear in the future, but it is not accessible at this point. "The Exchange" is made for completely new as well as stuff from finished seasons, so I do have hope to have a chance at the Rhine Armor in the future again.

Edit: The quote is here — "[...] nine new "Black Rhine" skins for Halo 3 were also made exclusive as weekly unlocks in The Exchange, [...]" https://www.halopedia.org/Season_6:_Raven

I found it. It's called Drengr armor. There's a whole bunch of helmets there and pauldrons, spaulders, leg piece, etc. Would be easier if they kept the names consistent lol.

Are you sure about Drengr? I use the Drengr Thyra set, which is content of the current Season 8 Mystic. The Drengr sets are kind of Viking themed: https://www.halopedia.org/Season_8:_Mythic

I think you did really show the Rhine Armor bundle: https://www.halopedia.org/RHINE-class_Mjolnir only yours looked more white. You can get a variant of the Rhine Armor bundle (not that nice white one it seems) in season 6. Take a look at that Halopedia page.

That's armour was exclusive to The Exchange for a few seasons. It just got rotated out with Season 8
This type of Season mechanic has been introduced to Plants vs Zombies on PS4. I have no information on how Halo will do it, but IF they go according to what we see on PvZ, the Rhine armour will appear at some point again in The Exchange.
Yes. Simply press (I think) Q/E on the season menu to cycle through the different season rewards.

Yea that is why I want them. I love viking art. Especially in games when you can wear it.
I will be unlocking them all. I just spent all my points to get one of the helms, arms and chest. Unlocking the other items to get to the ones I want is a bit annoying. But it is what it is.

Well, the "Viking" stuff in Season 8 is more fantasy than representative of historical vikings.

Well yes, absolutely. Even the horns on Viking helmets depicted in historical documentaries about Vikings are wrong. In order to communicate with less confusion, I branded the features of the Season 8 armour now with a "Viking-inspired" touch, although there are no Viking elements, not their writing. Thinking about it, it could also be "Dwarf"-inspired in the Tolkien environment for the shiny shoulder-pads as well as metal crown similar to Nazgul. I would not so much say "fantasy", personally, because I predominantly connect that to Elves for whatever reason.

Point being: Halo does a great job in designing the Drengr series. Also the Roman-inspired touch makes for great armour. :)

Well, Dwarfs are a fantasy race too

As standalone armours, they look good imo, but they don't really fit Halo but that was kinda the point of them also.
