Halo 4 worth playing given that 5 isn't coming to PC?

Title. I've recently beaten the original trilogy, and I loved it!! Still need to play Reach & ODST.

But is Halo 4 worth playing given that 5 isn't coming to PC?

*I'm not gon invest in an xbox for one game.

The Halo 4 story is more or less self-contained and gives closure at the end of it. It does not end on a cliff hanger like Halo 2.

If you loved the original trilogy, then you would probably hate Halo 4. It plays closer to generic shooters like Call of Duty, completely changes the art direction to look like Tron mixed with Power Rangers and the story is on the same level as a poorly written romance fanfiction.
It's fine as its own thing but it's just a terrible Halo.

Halo 5 doesn't really pick off from Halo 4, other than significant plot points in 4. Both games generally have their own thing going on.

Halo 4 Campaign is worth playing. Mechanically, it's like an evolution of Reach. The game has some very pretty environments, and a new art direction (which has its own merits and faults). There are some interesting additions to the sandbox too.

I would totally play it for something different. It's got an interesting story overall and, honestly, it works much better if you don't play Halo 5 (but infinite is continuing from the events in Halo 5)

Truth be told its. Not the greatest of games, but each game is worth playing through once in the collection, best way to experience the stories of the core halo games (excluding reach and odst) in the collection is to play the saga playlist, halo 1 through 4 in one Single playlist

halo 4 is refreshing because of new enemies and i would defo say to play it

If you own it, you might as well play it. But it got problems, lots of them.
More players have beaten Halo 3 campaign on legendary with all skulls on, than players who have completed three Halo 4 playlists (which can be done on normal, and doesn't cover all missions.)
