Filenames for the Halo 5 cutscenes in H2:A

I am very... unimpressed... by Halo 5 commercials popping up in the middle of Halo 2. I don't particularly care what 343 mistakenly thought they were doing with that. Fortunately since this is PC gaming I don't have to care, I can just remove the stupidity from the game - but before I go searching amongst the game's video files myself I figured I should ask here first. Does anyone know which cutscene files in H2:A are the Halo 5 ones so I can disable them? Note that I don't want to generally disable cutscenes in the game - I just want to remove specifically the Halo 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Thanks!

Wait, there's more than one? I know Halo 2: Anniversary starts with a Halo 5 tie-in for the first cutscene when you start the game in Anniversary graphics but I didn't know about another one.

Looking at what's there, and knowing nothing about it, these files sound suspect:

Ep001_OneSizeFitsAll.bk2
Ep_032_Post_Credits_Teaser.bk2
Ep_034_Bookend_Intro.bk2

I think the only way you're going to be able to test to see if these are it is to try it yourself. Maybe if you swap the file names you can get them to play to confirm what they are?

After running a quick test I can say that the starting Anniversary cutscene is this one:
Ep_034_Bookend_Intro.bk2
This is the one with Spartan Locke. The other two are the Arbiter/Chief introduction and post-credits Gravemind cliffhanger.

Bruh, there's only 1 visible cutscene, any other doesnt play in the game stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (stupid filter -_-)

make sure you dont interact with the terminals. half of them have spartan locke narrating them

I've since found out that there used to be a second tie-in cutscene at the end of Halo 2 Anniversary but it was removed. I think it was removed because Halo 5 made it non-canon.

When I removed the file I still had to skip it. It gave me a black screen until I did. (I didn't wait for the same length of time as the original cutscene.)

Great thread. Will most likely go in and remove it as well. That cutscene is literally the only issue I have with H2A on the campaign side of things

The opening cutscene isn't consistent with Halo 5 either though. As, whenever you meet Arbiter as Locke in Halo 5 they don't acknowledge that they've apparently met each other before

The worst part is that the cutscene literally spoils the game for anybody new to the franchise.
Considering that the idea of bringing Halo to PC is to let new players enjoy the game, I don't know why the cutscene hasn't been officially removed yet.

I'm actually new to halo myself and I was wondering what the ♥♥♥♥ was this new guy hunting master chief down for? and also the arbiter? Still playing halo 2 so it was pretty confusing. I decided to just go with the original graphics instead of remastered
