EAC Launch Error 30004

All of a sudden in the past week I have been getting the error code: 30004 (unexpected error. (WaitForSingleObject failed: 2)).
I have looked at the specific errors section on easy.ac (and also Google) and nothing seems to have worked. Apparently it is some kind of corrupted system file in Windows.

I've tested my RAM using the suggested program (Prime95) and all is fine there.
I've tried verifying integrity of game files (which 1 file was missing but was reacquired and the problem persists).
I'm on the latest version of windows and have updated every single driver I can in device manager.
I have done a full system scan for viruses and a rootkit analysis using Malwarebytes which had shown that I did not have any issues or viruses on my system.
I tried reinstalling EAC in the installers folder in the game directory but this did not work. I had an error 35 when trying to reinstall but I resolved this easily enough and it seemed to be unrelated.

I'm a bit of a loss and the only thing I haven't tried is reverting to an older version of Windows but I really don't want to do this as it will take a long time.

Any suggestions?

Edit: Okay, if anyone finds this in the future and needs help with this specfic issue I found that restarting my computer and then running the easyanticheat_setup.exe file (located: \Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\installers) as an admin fixed the issue. I have no idea why but I am now very happy to be able to play my favourite game again :)

Update: I took the hit and reset my entire PC and the problem persists

Did you ever get this sorted?
For me it was my Anti-virus program that was disagreeing with EAC.
In Spybot SD I turned off Live Protection, and now all games with EAC work fine for me.
