halo 4 poor textures

greetings, is there a plan to improve halo 4 textures ? i have been playing halo 4 flight , and im a bit disapointed , its great that the game is on pc but some textures are horrendous even for the 360 era, i know the game was held back by the 2005 ancient console , but some textures are ok others are horrible and is a jarring experience these textures really stand out on the negative , o pc i expect a bit of an improvement , i mean cmon , i dont know how to upload the screen capture here but check out my profile and look at the mongosse wheel it something quite horrible i among other many textures , please improve them a bit

It's a 360 game, hardware that had 512mb of unified memory to work with. They're not going to cook up brand new textures for a 7 year old port.

I did notice that as well. A lot of the textures are horrendous. Meanwhile Halo 3, etc, all look pretty crisp, for whatever reason. I feel like the only advantage Halo 4 has over the new ones is lighting. I'm not sure what enhancements they've done for the non-anniversary games, but kinda feels like Halo 4 got ignored there.

They didnt do any updates or change anything with the non ani titles, to my knowledge each game has received some very small texture upscaling updates at least h3 did. Im not sure if h4 really got the same love as its not a title many really care about.

did you look at the textures ? look up the screen shots ,do you think its ok?i love the game anyways but it obviously needs some work , i understand the 360 was old by the tima halo 4 released ,its not impossible to adress , im not asking for 4k textures just improve the blury pixelated mess a bit it stands out a lot , the rest looks ok by my standarts

The games are being released as there console states with some slight updates. so no they shouldnt. I want the games to work, another thing you need to consider is how it affects console players as they are on the same build and Halo 4 has frame issues with the xbox one.

how it affects consoles? i think even 2013 xbone can handle a bit more texture work,ot just leave it as is if xbone 2013 cant handle it , xbone x can surelly manage

my point is the visuals as a whole need to be coherent ,halo 3 looks old but its visuals fit together ,halo 4 looks good as a whole but those textures look like they dont belong with the rest,even for the 360 it looks subpar, i understand they had to cut corners to make the game run, all im sugesting is a patch sometime in the future to match the textures with the rest

The xbox one specs are terrible and can barely handle 4 on the big team battle maps, now lets change the game and ♥♥♥♥ it up more that will surely increase performance. dont believe me you can try it on the xbox one itself. Im not sure what they did when making the game but they had to make cuts as it was game that should have been released for later generations and was rushed out. Halo 4 does have a really impressive lighting engine for its time and I think thats why they had to cut textures.
