The 360 halo games still hold up really well so there is no reason to remaster them fully.
Also 343i has bigger fish to fry (Halo infinite)
Both infinite and the lackluster state of mcc surely impacted any chances of following up in 2017 with a Halo 3 anniversary, as I believe it wasn't until 2018 that mcc was in a considerably more fixed condition. And then came the work bringing it to pc.
Any attempt at remastering Halo 3 would be a disaster.
It still holds up pretty well otherwise.
I also wish they change up with Brute's armor color to distinguish their ranks easy.
I loaded into a multiplayer map today and it felt like Halo 5's bastard child.
I'd say Halo 4 is more in need for a remaster. The game's absolutely hideous at times because of the PS2 era textures.
The campaign on the other hand look vastly different compare to HL2M, it rendered on Saber3d engine on top of Halo 2 classic engine (like they did to Halo CEA).
The singleplayer is an abomination too though, in my opinion. The Elites don't look like Elites to me, and above all there's Halo 4 Warthogs?!
I remember the first time I watched the remastered cutscenes and saw Miranda Keyes, and she looks nothing like she did before.
Do you know of any news about H5 coming to the MCC or just to PC in general?
