Opening on Wrong Monitor
Ever since new update Halo MCC has only been opening on my second monitor. When I go in video options my main monitor is selected but only opens on second. How do I fix this? Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Same problem, tried playing around with setting main monitors and whatnot. None of that worked, tried going to windowed mode and moving it with windows key+shift and arrow keys, it moves, minimizes and opens back up on the wrong monitor.

try turning off the second monitor temporarily, opening the game, close the game down, and see if it opens on the right monitor with both monitors on after that? Windows can make for a bit of finnickyness with multiple displays

following up - it appears there's a new setting under Video for monitor selection, try that
Having the same issue however when I tab out then tab back in it opens on the correct monitor but at the incorrect resolution
Settings wont apply at all when I press the button

Tried f11 moving then f11 again but it takes it back to the same screen

you have to select the primary monitor in the Graphic settings and make sure to select the monitor you are using. It worked for me but idk how it works with Multiple of the same monitor.

same problem here, turning off the monitor doesn't do anything, i have to actually completely unplug it. and changing it in the video settings does nothing at all as well. come on microsoft, whats up with these dumb ass errors.. i have never seen this even on the most budget of games

To move the window press the windows key and the left or right arrow key at the same time and it'll move to the monitor you want it to.

If not, you may need to make it windowed first, move it monitor and then press alt+enter.

Over a month later, no update?

So, I had this issue for the longest time, but I seem to have fixed it now. The only thing I could think of it being was something with my specific monitor configuration (DP and DVI) and with how a DP monitor (or at least mine) behaves when it is turned off. The thing is, windows sort of reacquires the monitor when I turn it on, behaving similarly to if I unplugged and plugged it back in. Perhaps this somehow causes confusion for MCC? It is certainly weird, but that's my best guess.

Anyway, what I did was in my monitor's settings I made it so that when I turn it off, it goes into a standby mode instead of fully turning off, which now has made it so that windows no longer has to reacquire the monitor every time I turn it on. With that change made, MCC is now starting on my main monitor every time, as it should. For the record, I'm also running borderless.

So, yeah, it was either that, or 343 fixed the problem. Lol.

Any issue with monitors might be fixed by going to AppData\LocalLow\MCC\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
and deleting your GameUserSettings.ini

This is where all the settings are saved. If you delete it, it will make a new one on startup and should appear. Obviously, you will have to re-do your settings after the launch.
