For people with inconsistent and limited availability, trying to find groups without MM or searchable lobbies can use up all your play time so I guess in the mean time it is solo or no-go. It is a shame, it was a blast on co op.
I'm doing all legendary for the achievement and I can barely stomach 2-3 missions before I have to take a break. Why they have an achievement for soloing all of it I'll understand. I'd rather slaso 2... and I will one day.
:) if anyone needs help with the legendary run let me know!
The frequent deaths are definitely a thing, but as long as you accomplish something in each life, you will make steady progress and have no need to feel discouraged or anything. Not to mention, if you break down a lot of the Halo campaigns, it involves going someplace, killing everything, and interacting with something, Spartan Ops hardly changes it up much other than having smaller arenas (though the later levels are much larger).
I know this opinion is not a popular one and it probably stems from the fact that I genuinely enjoy the gunplay of Halo 4, especially the Assault Rifle, and Spartan Ops is a risk-free firefight populated with an overabundance of enemies and a 5 second respawn timer. People tend to begrudgingly admit that 343i at least balances weapons better than Bungie, and the Halo 4 Assault Rifle is the best example of that, turning a complete joke of a weapon to an absolute monster, at least in Campaign.
Just my two cents.
Well, it's not THAT bad, okay? But sometimes it feels completely wrong in terms of "Halo" game. This Elites just... like seriously? They just rush by group in any place where I do my shooting range and spamming everything they got... Do I really play Halo game?
Halo 4 campaign was awesome, but Spartan Ops just really lazy designed number of maps, which is all the same almost every time. I will finish that on Solo Legendary, but no way ever I'm going to replay it.
merging it with the TV show was stupid and unnecessary.
They should've made a well made enjoyable story dlc instead
