Halo 4 Bug Mission 5 Reclaimer Jetpack (solved)

I was trying to submit a ticket on the official Halo support website, but it's set-up in a way where we can't actually do that which is just weird. Anyway, I can't play M5 Reclaimer of Halo 4, because in the very beginning of the mission when you walk up the Mammoth and talk to Lasky and then Palmer tells you to grab a jetpackk, 2 waypoints very far away and close to each other appear (outside of the mission area far behind the rocks, no idea where and I can't make out the distance because the waypoints overlap each other) and then there is nothing to do except walk around the mammoth, no jetpacks to pick up at all or any advancement of some kind in the mission.

Moreso, I have the skull w/ higher rare dialogue frequency and seems like there is no rare dialogue.

My current thoughts on Halo 4: needs more character like from before. AI and environment are hardly interesting to interact w/ and Elites need Halo 2A type of armor to keep them cool. And where's the flashlight?

The jetpacks are at the outside walkway on top of the mammoth, near the back of each side.
that bug happened for me too.

i have the same issue and after getting the jetpack it bugs again

Where/what bugged after the jetpacks? There's workarounds for a few things on that level.

I completed it without em because I had the same bug. You can just go in the green well to get into the ship, and then jump off at the right time to land on the mammoth or rock to not die
