Easy Anti Cheat deleting xaudio2_9redist.dll

Easy Anti Cheat keeps deleting xaudio2_9redist.dll.
This seems to be an issue as trying to to open the game via the .exe without the .dll gives an error that the .dll is missing.
Has anyone else had any issues with this? Its been deleting the file both from the MCC's folder and from the System 32 folder.

I have recently run into this issue, the xaudio2_9redist is present in my system 32, but it wont let me delete it, to see if it will re-install. Did you ever get an answer?

Be careful if you mess with system 32.

What exactly is your problem? From your description it sounds different from the OP.

My issue tells me; "The code execution cannot proceed because XAudio2_9Redist.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem". When I go to System 32 Xaudio2_9redist.dll is present. This message happens when I try the win64-shipping.exe

I've tried launching from steam and Its the anti-cheat system screwing it up. I can launch with it disabled and it works fine.

Comp crashed (blue screen infinite repair loop) Got it back from the shop and MCC is the only game in my library that doesn't fire up. So i'm blaming the Anti-cheat.

I submitted a ticket, but I doubt that does anything either... I was 1/2 way through the master chief saga, all i wanted was to finish...

I did the verify twice, no files downloaded. I can reinstall, but worried that will not solve it either.

"Good news everybody" I found a solution.

I turned off my Avast and MCC fired up just fine. I browsed around a bit, exited, fired it up again, and when Avast came back on (10 minute break) MCC crashed. So, in my experience it was Avast that isn't playing well the the Easy Anti-cheat system.

protip: delete your antivirus and just don't download shady stuff if you're too dumb to handle it. (you know yourself best) boom many many many problems solved instantly.

That's bad advice. He does have options.
For starters, he can tell Avast to make an exception for certain programs or to this specific file. He could also report this error to Avast, Easy Anti-Cheat (Epic Games), or 343i. I'm pretty sure Avast is either going off by mistake or it's a "potentially unwanted program" (PuP) that is blocked for the sake of caution. If it's the ladder then it can be whitelisted pretty easily. I'd recommend checking the settings for Avast for good measure anyway. It might also have a log for when it blocked this file that might fast-track you to whitelisting it.

Hmmm, you know, I recently switched from Avast to AVG, and I know it was for a game, but I can't recall which game it was that was causing the issues. Maybe this was the game...

First go here - https://www.dll-files.com/xaudio2_9redist.dll.html - And get your correct Architecture be it, (64bit or 32bit).

Then just unzip, copy and paste it into the game directory.

Worked for me, Hope it works for you! o/
