Game "Closes" when Alt-Tab is pressed

For some reason the game closes and the icon disappears when I alt-tab from the game. However, the game is still running since I can continue to hear it in the background. Steam also says I am currently playing the game.

The game is open I can still hear music playing, but appears closed. I alt-tabbed during a cut scene in Halo CE. It has occurred twice, both were during the ending cut scenes of missions Silent Cartographer and 343 Guilty Spark.

It's an odd thing so I thought I should post about it. Will test alt tab outside of cut scenes.

Happened to me several times weeks ago but for reach & halo 3

It's happened to me on 3 different halo games within MCC. Cut scene or not, every time I Alt+Tab is crashes. Odd thing is that task manager no longer see's the game running and steam can't stop the game. I have to restart my computer to play it.

Happened to me too. What happens is somehow MCC becomes a background process, you can check it in the task manager. I think it happened to me when I pressed the windows key.

I had it happen during gameplay outside of a cutscene in Halo 3
