Golden Moa Collectible Location Thread

Right, all you degenerates - here me here me!

For all of you who don't know, Season 8 of MCC will be implementing a new collectible into Halo 3's campaign: The 'Golden Moa'. They are far more frequent than Skulls, and some have 3-4 Moa per level.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to go out and find as many Moa as you can across Halo 3's campaign, and compile it into this thread. The S8 flight has seen us already find quite a few, but there's a lot of work to be done.

An additional question. My original plan was to add the Moa's to my original Halo 3 Guide here:

But then people might not realise that it's been updated; so I could always just make a new one. I'm still leaning towards updating the old Guide honestly.

I didn't get into the Flight, but wasn't there only 2 levels? So there's at least one Moa on every level I'm assuming. Quick google search tells me that you have caught all of them so far.

Yep, this thread is slightly premature. But I'm down with Flu atm; thought I'd write this up while I'm still semi-lucid.
The rest will be filled in as they're found, then I'll compile them to the Guide once the hunt's finished.

It should be noted that some if not all of the Moa's have been moved since the flight.

Ok. Big update!!

I've done some digging, and it seems that, through people using the Map editor, we actually already have a complete list of where all the Moa's can spawn. But so far, only 3 Moa per level (out of a possible 9_ on 3 different maps (Seira117, Crows Nest, and Tsav Highway), are actually spawning in. This makes me think that 343 are going to be rotating them in and out on a weekly basis, switching out locations, and different levels.

I've gone through almost every spawn point in the campaign, and only the ones' in the first 3 levels actually have Moa's there. At least, that's what I think, I'd love if people double check. This is the video in question:

I guess you could add "+ Moa Statues" to the title of your original guide? since they aren't technically collectibles.

I started a guide with a few locations but feel free to add them to your own, having a hard time finding these with the help of my friend.

I was going to, but there too great a chance people wouldn't know I updated it. I've created a another one, just in case. :) And yes, it looks like you've got the ones' I followed as well. This all but confirms 343 are rotating them bi-weekly.

Location of the statues changes every week (Wednesday I believe) according to release notes.

CAMPAIGN COLLECTIBLES IN THE HALO 3 CAMPAIGN
Golden moa statues have begun appearing in Halo 3 missions in locations that change every week. These can be collected by shooting them and are tied to challenges.
